Guatemala

Technical support missions (4) to Prodefor/Procuch, Guatemala (ETC/UNDP - Development of topics related to sustainable land use, sustainable forest management, production, processing and marketing of timber and NTFP's, ecotourism and other forest services (CO2, water), forest conservation (biodiversity, culture, soil- and water), community forestry, agroforestry. Preparation of a marketing strategy for forest products.

Tanzania, Uganda

Technical support missions to the Epopa-Programme (SIDA), to coordinate field officers trainings on organic coffee production (proper soil and crop management, agroforestry, biological control, nurseries, extension) , to identify possibilities and needs for inclusion of agroforestry activities and to prepare extension materials on shade tree management.
